Parker Clay produces beautiful handmade leather goods from high-quality Ethiopian leather. Their signature tote is a perfect accessory for everyday use or a fun weekend journey!
A company born after founders Ian and Brittany Bentley learned the staggering truth of how many orphans there are worldwide, their goal is clear: tangible and direct change for the women and children of Ethiopia. The Bentley family first went to Ethiopia in 2011 in an effort to learn first-hand what it takes to break the poverty cycle, and came home as adoptive parents themselves. Soon after that, they relocated to Ethiopia to work full time producing beautiful Parker Clay products from locally sourced leather and labor. Their partnership with the non-profit Women at Risk supports efforts to save women from the commercial sex industry with the help of training, jobs, and physical and psychological support. Through this partnership, with every 300 Parker Clay products sold there are 15 people in Addis Ababa saved from the commercial sex industry with a 94% success rate.
